Hello from Central Illinois

Just joined. I ride old and new, and all different types of bikes.

My current vintage bikes include:

1950 Vincent Black Shadow C
1969 BMW R69S
1974 Norton Commando
1985 BMW R80GS

They are all running well, and ridden regularly.

Looking to add either a Norton Model 18/19 or better yet a 28-32 Indian scout 101 (maybe both just don't tell the wife!).

I'm new to wrenching on my own bikes, so really always trying to learn more about them.

Also for those familiar with it I write a column 6 times a year for motorcycle consumer news.

Looking forward to participating in this group.

Welcome Charles - It looks like a great collection and maybe a balance with a couple of older bikes would be just the thing. There are plenty of writing opportunities as posts here on the forum, the bi-monthly AMCA NewsLetter and The Antique Motorcycle magazine. Feel free to share your interests (and photos - we like images too) in antique motorcycles.
