    Hello all,
Doing a test to see if I have the posting images thing correct.

Been involved with bikes for 50 years, but new to the pre 30's.
    I have 4 JD's in various states.
Will be getting the two fairly original ones up as running/riding bikes.
Will probably do a full restoration on one of the 29's.
Looking forward to interacting with the members here.
    Cheers
    Mick

Welcome! Those are really nice JD's you'll have a lot of good folks on this website who can offer advice as you progress through their restorations.

          Thanks green Indian.
My 26 and one of the 29's are too original to restore. I will make them both riders as they are, adding original parts as I think appropriate.
I will do a restoration of one of the 29's.
One of the best threads i have seen here is Steve Swans restoration of his 27. The photos he posted really helps to understand what goes where.
          Cheers,
          Mick
