Hello all, my name is Daniel Kraft and I just wanted to briefly introduce myself. Im a 25 year old teacher, and I'm into early motorcycles. Three of my family members have completed the Motorcycle cannonball race, competing in the last 3 runs. I recently acquired a 1911 flying Merkel frame and will be looking for parts to complete it over the next few years, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Daniel - I would like to suggest that you check out the forum for Member Build Threads. The Member Build Threads are great to see how other members have approached these bike building projects and a great way to learn tricks of the trade. Your Merkel could be a great candidate for a bike build thread so as you plan and execute your project take plenty of photos and notes and share them with the AMCA Forum.
