new young member from Sweden 1921 Harley sport

Hello,

My name is Martin from Sweden.
I have inherited a 1921 Harley Davidson from my grandfather who bought it some time in the 20ies. It's been in the family since then. I am doing a full restoration of it. Almost everything is original, though with alot of the parts in the wrong finish and some needing repairs.
I am just below 30 so quite new on this.

I became a member here to learn and hopefully get some help from you knowledgable ones. I will sureley need all the help I can get, and hope to share some experience as well.

I have a Model W Redister booklet dated 1997. It showes 64 known, 2 1920 and 4 1921 in Sweden ! H-D built 9883 W models from 1919 to 1923. In 1921 built 1100 WF magneto and 823 WJ electric

Louie, your sport looks beutiful. I love the patina, wish mine would have been the same, then I wouldn't have touched it. I guess I will be sending you some emails during the restoration
I will try to post some more images, everything is in peices now though.

blupacer, than you, I have the same booklet. My father was contacted many ears ago regarding this research.
The sport seems to have been popular in europe.

Below is the web page link for the registry, it's funny that the AMCA co sponsored the web site with the CSMA when it was started but its no longer listed. Woody Carson was the driving force for the AMCA, maybe it was dropped after is died? I saved a copy of every page of the web site after it was started and also I have a copy of the book. I have two bikes listed in the registry, my current 1920 and a 1923 which I sold, I think I'm number 11-1.
