Thought I'd better do my duty and post here! I'm a new member and I've got a '46 Chief project that I found last summer, it came from Puerto Rico via Miami, found in a backyard in PR and shipped to Miami where it sat in a warehouse for 10 years or more while the owner chipped away at the re-build... but he never got very far so now it's my turn! Trying to keep it all together, almost everything was there plus many parts I don't know where they go or what they came off of... all I know is that they're not from this bike.
Moving along on the re-build, sheet metal was just painted, chrome parts coming soon (I hope).
I'm trying to keep this bike original as can be so this Forum is a great resource!
And I wanted to go to Rheinbeck this weekend, but my son and wife just had their second child.... let's see, motorcyles... grandchild.... motorcycles... grandchild....hmmm! Rheinbeck next year I guess!
