Any recommendations on bike shippers ? Haul bikes is a company I recognize, I need to ship my grandfathers ‘64 r/50 from ca. to ma. Time doesn’t matter too much as it’s coming from my brother

Give Dennis a call at Ship My Bike: https://www.berklaytransport.com/services They offer one truck one driver service on the east coast. IDK if they go to the west coast or not?
I've used Federal transport (AAA and HOG recommended) without issue, but they hand off the pallet with your bike a few times along the way.
Is Haul Bikes the one that has a hard time delivering on time and give you a hard time if you ask?

I have used Haul Bikes Daily Direct about 4 times and never any damage and always the most competitive price. They will take likely a month to go from coast to coast. If you ship from a business address to another business they seem to give a better price. They don't really like to go to a residence if possible but will do it. I usually ship from a Home depot parking lot to another Home depot.
They will call the day before from the driver to give you a time. Their semi trucks are extremely long and thus they prefer a large parking lot, even a Walmart will work. One time years ago I lived near an Indian casino and met them there.
If you use them do it soon because when the Mecum LasVegas motorcycle auction comes up Jan 28-31 2026 they will be super busy as they are the exclusive US shipper for them. They usually sell over 1200 bikes and many use Haul Bike.Last edited by KNUCK; Yesterday, 06:48 PM.#7558 Take me on and you take on the whole trailer park!

Numerous times with Haul Bikes and nothing but praise. They offer one price regardless of mileage door to door (about $600) but if you’re near enough to one of their drop off warehouses you can save about $100. They use local drivers to bring it to your house so you’re saving them a step. Tried using U Ship for a dirt bike this spring and the only one that came in less than haul bikes was a scammer that wanted the money up front which I was warned about by U Ship.

Thanks you guys , was leaning towards haul bikes at 703.00 coast to coast , door to door. Now that’s what I’m doing. Looking forward to owning the first bike I ever rode on. Big brothers kids & grandkids not interested, lucky me. Wife says 4 Harley’s and now one beemer is enough, I begrudgingly have to agree. Thanks again for your opinions.
