Larry at MG Auto Electric does fine work at a reasonable price and he is a genuinely nice guy. He owns a small old timey shop and has repaired/rebuilt a couple of generators of mine with excellent results. He is only a 20 minute drive from me but he is happy to take in projects by mail. He's the type of fellow who has bench tested generators and voltage regulators for me and when I insist on paying him he declines with a smile.
