With a little glass tubing experience under my belt, Ken,...

And before I search my stash,

I gotta ask: Is it broken?

      Greetings
Glass tubes are measured by ID OD in mm. The tube you have is/was most likely 20x25 mm tube 4.2" long (2.5 mm wall thickness is roughly .097 inch). That is a stock size. Send me a private message and ill send you a couple of pieces. The piece that you have is most likely soft glass, the piece that ill send will be quartz, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, its just heat proof and a much lower COE. Are the ends rough or look fire polished?
      Thanks

tube is not glass, it is plastic with a small crack that im afraid will expand and leak.

I really have no experience with your pumper, Ken,...

But clear plastic was pretty rare back then; You could always try https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/63406094

Pretty sure glass would make you happier!

PS: Nothing in my lab scraps is appropriate. If it will clean up clear, I would try to "heal" the crack with a soldering iron if necessary, just to run until the glass arrives.

Thank you for the response and offer to send me a tube, anything would be appreciated.

the tube is plastic, not glass......may have been replaced, this is for
            a 1913 Emblem single model 105.
if I can get quartz or glass that would be great,
the ID is critical due to the rubber plungers, ID is .970 +- .005. (4.318 mm)
            Wall thickness is .060 (1.524mm)
            OD 1.100 +.020 (27.94mm)

            Cheers Ken

After looking at the dimensions again something didn't add up. It cant have a .170 ID and a 1.10 OD, with a .060 wall. Using the .120 (.060x2) wall thickness .170+ .120= .290 OD or 1.10 (28mm) - .120 (3mm) = .98 (24.89mm) which seem most likely judging by the photo. A standard size for me would be 25mm x 28mm. please re-check the ID. You can always call.
                  Thanks

.015" wall is pretty thin, Ken!

If the original was glass, it would have been extremely fragile, so I suspect your plunger may be enlarged to fit the plastic.

Can we see pics of the plunger, etc?

the 25x28mm looks like it will work, that will be 1.109 OD with .984 ID with 4.20 length.
I will give you a call on Monday to make arrangements.
                        Cheers Ken

                          Sorry, Ken,..

I didn't see you had to correct two measurements by a lot.

Its always hard to hit a moving target.
