Hi, Can anyone help with a possible scam. Bought a 1928 AJS K8 gearbox from a Morgan Fields in Alabama and it looks as if it has turned BAD . The money (purchase price plus freight to New Zealand ) was a bank wire transfer to an account at Cullman saving bank Cullman AL , in the name of Laura McDaniel ( claims this is the wife ) 509 Mann St Hanceville AL 35077. Once the payment was made extra charges were requested , custom fee etc etc . Does anyone know of Morgan Fields or had dealings with that name. Can anyone help please ? Thanks in advance .

The curious thing is that I cannot find a Morgan Fields over the age of 34 in Alabama, but Laura McDaniel is listed as 60 years of age. Possibly his mother? Remarried?

If there were any customs fees, they would be charged when the shipment arrived on your end. He would not have to pay any customs fees to ship to you. He would pay only the shipping cost to the shipping service.Comment
