Excessive PM's

Not sure where to put this but i am having trouble sending PM to fellow members. When I write the PM it says it cant send because I have too many topics - 87 versus 50 allowed ?? I found 7/8 PM which i deleted but not seeing anymore. Its been a while since i sent any PM so must be very old.

I don't know about this site, but on others you have to go to your deleted folder and permanently delete the old PMs

the pm thing on this forum seems unwell to me. sometimes i can delete items, other times i cannot. when i go into notifications, then inbox preview, i see items, when i go into inbox from inbox preview, i see nothing, when i go into message center, i see items in inbox preview and no way to delete them and then when i go to inbox, i see nothing.

Like Joe and Steve have mentioned I had to delete all my old messages AND it was a bit of a search to make sure I got all the folders.
