Computer confused, need clues Please

For two days Folks,...

My wife's desktop can't access the forum; It times out with either Brave or Edge, but everything else comes up perfectly.

My shop PC is old and decrepid, but it can access the forum.

Did I accidently block my wife somehow? Many thanks in advance!

Try shutting down the laptop for 15 minutes, and cut the power from your server for the same amount of time. Then try the forum with a sign~in.

Thanks *M.A.D.*, but I cold-booted her PC morning and night for two days...

Only this forum ever timed out, with no other issues with any other page.

This is the third morning, and naturally, it fixed itself. I'll never know what I did wrong or what I did right.

Maybe run a computer virus scan on your computers just to rule out a computer 'bug"?
