Hi all I'm a new forum member this is my first post, I'm Australian and been a AMCA member for several years my new project is a 29 model J needing lots of work it's 90% complete but needs a complete teardown and going through so I can see myself asking lots of questions in the J/JD forum cheers Ray

Welcome to the AMCA, Ray. Get Steve Slocomde's JD book, check out Replicant Metals, and keep asking questions. I got my first JD in about 1975 and it was like finding flying saucer parts in Roswell, N.M. Much has changed for the better since then and the relentless hard work of early Harley-Davidson devotee's has been priceless for everyone that loves the best built Harleys of the earliest, and the J, and JD era. Keep the faith, Ray
