  • New to Forum and vintage bikes

After 15+ years on modern motorcycles I am new to the vintage motorcycle world. I picked up this 47 WL a couple of weeks ago and I got it registered this week and made a short maiden voyage this week end. Lots to take in. Lots to learn. I have wanted a vintage bike and this one was restored in the mid 90s. I didn't want a museum piece, but wanted a rider that would get attention. I think I was successful.

                    Mark,
I am in North Carolina near Raleigh. I have not been to a swap meet. I plan to find one and go at some point.

Welcome to the club. You have a great start with the bike you have acquired but be careful because many times one is not enough. The Southern National Meet is only a short distance from you just the other side of Ashboro this coming fall. This is a laid back meet with great camping and friendly people. Hope you make it.
