Is 1925 transmission the same as 1929? Can you use a 1925 mated to a 1929jd engine?

It is possible but not very easy. 1925 is a one year only transmission. It is the last year of the ramp style clutch throwout and the first year of the wider stance chassis. I would not recommend it. It is hard enough finding 25 parts much less adapting it to a 1929. I could look, I might have enough to built a 1929 transmission.
