Early plastic saddlebags

I have a line on a set of supposedly HD plastic saddlebags with the carrier for an early sportster or K model. Did the early HD bags just have 2 horizontal trim pieces? I thought the first plastic bags had the flying comets on them. Any info would be appreciated.

They are stock K model bags, came out before the '54 style. They may have different lids as well if they are the earliest production.
