A friend has an un-restored 1937 Knuck. It has a 1941-'46 speedometer in it. He is looking for a 1936-1940 speedometer core to have rebuilt. He has cash or a decent '41-'46 speedo to trade.

Chris the core your friend is looking for is a rare one - it is actually 1936 and 1937. The later housing with the oval cover plate started in 1938 and not in 1941. I cannot help but wish him lots of luck. I have seen cores on ebay bring almost a grand.
