As you might expect Sears didn't make motorcycles. They would have an existing company put the Sears name on them and sell them in their store. Yours appears to be a Motogiro Sears Gilera Motorcycle.

Motogiro is the name of an event and is not part of the name of the bike. Gilera is a well known Italian manufacturer and was one of several brands Sears re-badged for domestic sales. Do a search for Allstate Motorcycles on the web for more info.

I am not very informed about Sears/Puch, but I do know of this place and have ordered a couple of other things from them.

Puch is an Austrian brand, nothing to do with Gilera, which was Italian. Both were rebranded at various times by Sears. If you look at my video on Austrian museums under Pete's Garage in the library section of the website, you will see that Puch had a longer history than Indian, and built more than small displacement two strokes. There was an overhead valve v-twin in the early days, prewar there was a four cylinder supercharged two stroke, and various other unique designs came from the factory.
