Max Bubeck

The AMCA has lost one of its great characters. Max Bubeck died this morning following complications from an operation. Max was 93 years of age. Last time I spoke to him he told me he was 96. Being rather proud of his long life and ability to ride an Indian well into his 90's, he was the only person I know who sometimes lied about his age- in the wrong direction. Max's accomplishments are well known, and too many to record here. Born 1917 in LA, died Palm Springs April 9/'11
