Stolen Wheel in bad wreck

I found this story in1915 Iowa City news-after the car-motorcycle-airplaine races.-------Charged with practically stealing the motorcycle that was wrecked on his way home from the races. En route to Cedar Rapids,Fank Warren was jailed and is awaiting his trial. He is accused of stealing 20$ and a checkbook and using the funds to lease the big wheel that afterwards went on to smash on the rural highway as he sped homeward.He confessed to getting drunk and boozing along the way.He then fell with the wobbling cycle and the machine went to the bad in the crash.
