Anybody know when the last Ed Roth published issue of Choppers Magazine was published before being taken over by TRM Publications?

I have 20 issues. I do have the first issue which is undated but copyrighted 1967. I know I am missing six issues. They are May 1968, June 1968, July 1968, October 1968, December 1968, and January 1969.
After the first 1967 issue the next one I have is February 1968. I don't know what was printed in between them. The September 1968 issue is titled Custom Bike Magazine and not Choppers.
The last issue I have is March 1970.

Just seeing those names and titles brings back a lot of memories. When I was a kid in high school c1968-69 my pal Brian brought in a pile of various '60s chopper mags and that was what got me started.
Or rather re-started since I had an earlier infatuation when the movie "The Wild Angels" came out and me and my pals promptly bought Levi jackets, cut off the arms, sewed on various patches and tore around on our bicycles.
I was somewhat hampered since I had a diamond-frame (Pop) Schwinn 10-speed while my cousin Louie had a cool Sting-Ray clone. He could pop wheelies! I was envious as heck but I was way faster on the road where it really counted....

Naw, I missed that one. I was in Naked Angels though. Wild Angels had a lot of it filmed in my boyhood turf of Ocean Park, CA and Venice, CA. The bar they were in was the world famous "Oar House" http://www.oarhousebuffalochips.com/...ndex-oold.html . Sadly it is gone now but was an institution in the Ocean Park district of Santa Monica for 40 years. Unfortunately my copy of "Wild Angels" is a VHS tape otherwise I'd watch it again. As a 14 year old kid it influenced me greatly, altho when I saw it many years later it struck me as being rather grim, being the old conservative dude that I've since become.
Edit: "Naked Angels" is real and Chris is listed in the full credits. That's cool. Now Chris you gotta tell us what the title means!

Just a title. Typical no real plot biker flick. Old club pres get outta jail. Steals a bike. Friends of stolen bike owners (ME) chase him to the clubhouse where we are severely beaten. Club rides in a pack to Las Vegas to fine the rat who sent him up.
