When I was down there I came out of Texas on Highway 40, caught the sun setting in Albuquerque (one of the most amazing I've ever seen), made it to Gallup and then headed north to Colorado. It's a beautiful state you live in. As far as the heat goes I have to admit it was sometime in the middle of August!!!

Here's a shot from my backyard. It's hovering around the 0 degree mark (fahrenheit) There's about a foot of snow in the yard but it has warmed up considerably!!!
