Dear Chris, I see the CHP bikes had black fender tops in 1938, but in the 1935 movie the bikes are all white. I'm building a 1936 VLH in CHP finish and reckon the bikes were still all white. Anyone out there know for sure?

Freddy Osborn on Henderson Deluxe off a Cliff

Is this part of the reason that our beloved machines are so rare???
      http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=64827[/QUOTE]

First post ever, see if this works?
The bike Freddy is riding is a 1925 or 1926 Henderson Deluxe. The film reel is dated 1926. Freddy Osborn was a pilot and movie stunt man. His wife Jackie was a wing walker and jumper. There is a great story(I believe post 1926, he lived!!) of an event and amazing rescue in this short book by Norman Granger on Air Racing at Clover Field in CA.
Scroll to page 11 for this story:

I have photos of the all white 1934's and the black and white 1938. Perhaps you should contact the CHP Museum and ask them.

I would go check to see if the Henderson is OK and forget about the dumb ass stunt guy, 200 feet is cutting it close to jumping without a chute...

Borrowed from the Cannonball Forum..... is it just me or does it appear that they run the track in a different direction in Spain?
