Dear Cory, do you have the Movietone News clip from 1935 showing a gaggle of California Highway Patrol VLs blasting down a new concrete highway to prove they will do 100 mph? I have it on tape and a blurry DVD but would love to see a clean copy posted.

There are some really cool clips in that line-up for sure! Pictures are good but film brings it all to life. Steve, I don't recall seeing the clip you mentioned but I'll see if I can round it up.

This is not LAPD. It is the California Highway Patrol at the state capitol in Sacramento, California
