        Inspiring! Makes my silly little record a few years ago at Maxton on a 1930 Harley V seem... well, silly. But it sure was fun.

              My UL regularly breaks 70, and that's at 7000 feet pulling a sidecar! you must grow some wimpy ULs in the northwest!

                      speaking of fast flatheads didn't Cal Rayborne's 750 KR harley lap Daytona at nearly 150mph back in the late 60's? is that new record the guy set at Bonneville for unlimited displacement?
                      the development work Jerry Branch and dick Obrien did on the KR would be invaluable for a Bonneville attempt. I am sure the new record holder must be aware of all this.
