Dang.... I get the same screen as you. I sure hope my chastising of how they except memberships wasn't the cause. I did warn them though ! Paps

No reason to panic. I tried to go on there a couple of hours ago, and before the current message that you quoted, it said that it was down temporarily to perform some work. Something like fine tuning, I guess. They should have left that message up. Now, it does look a lot more ominous, but it's maintenance.

My computer was infected with malware last week when the site was hacked. It took me 2 days to clean it up. I hope they are able to fix it.

            CAIMAG Forum...It's been stolen.
I doubt that the thieves would get much even parted out. A bunch of dated postings by a bunch of washed up smart-asses wouldn't bring much even on eBay!

Just went back over there. It's still not working, tho you can log in. All you go to is an outline skeleton of the different categories. Can't read any posts, or make any.
All you can do is leave the Webmaster a note. So I did.
Appears they are in the middle of making the yella-paged website we loved look, and act, just like this one. Which lost its convenience in the last makeover. Here, even the columns listing poster and time posted aren't wide enuf to be readable. But no one cares. And the clock is set to list posts in 12-hour time ("0200") even when it really means 2:00 in the afternoon ("1400" in 24-hour time) What you can see of it. Most of the time, you can't. But it hasn't had any attention.
                  Technology marches backward. Dammit.

                    What's up?

I am getting the exact same login screen that is usedon this forum. I cannot even view the forum without logging in. Since I am not sure what is going on, I'll just hold off.

I have been getting virus warnings on my PC (Windows Vista) since I was on that forum in the timeframe in which the hacking occurred, I believe. I have run four virus or spybot programs and can't find anything. I do no internet banking and rarely enter any financial information so I am not, at this point, unduly concerned. Nevertheless, I will stay off that forum for awhile and look for status updates on this site.

Unbelieveable. Are they really changing the forum over to one like this one? I hate this one.

I did the same scans and came up with nothing even though I was still getting redirected to other sites when I logged in to regular sites I go to. Finally went to www.malwarebytes.org and used their free downloads and cleaned everything up. There were 11 trojans on my pc. I have never had this happen and it was very frustrating. Why do people do this!

I don't care for the layout options of this software either but the software is really pretty reliable and the preventive tooling is real good. Paps
