I recently picked up a complete 1916 Militaire engine and transmission. Not really knowing what I had purchased I began to do research on the engine and talked to several people that were very helpful with identifying the year and other specifics about the engine. I was going to let it sit around as a conversation piece but after I found out that there were only a handful of these machines known on earth I am going to offer it for sale. It is a very unique piece of American motorcycle history but I am not interested in building the bike, but I would love for it to go to someone that will actually get the bike up and running.
