These tail lights are coming out of Greece. The seller has a lot of NOS military stuff there. Perhaps the motorcycles ordered by the Greek government didn't have brake lights? These are also 1950 replacement parts.

Part number is 5051-34N. It's illustrated on p. 58 of the November 25, 1941 (two weeks before Pearl Harbor!) Spare Parts List (Army TM 10-1350), and listed on page 59 as "Lamp, Complete, Stop and Tail, $2.20."
So, interesting that these have only a single filament; a variation.

I got mine today. Looks like it was an early 1950 replacement part. Packed in the Feburary 17, 1950 Chicago Sun Times.

The guy re-listed the lights and I got one. Thanks for the heads up. Hard to beat that price for original HD. Only 2 left item #120600635002

As they were here. The brake light was an option.Originally posted by Steve Slocombe View PostDear Chris, I've seen these in Europe and they have the single filament plug connection.

No there aren't. But the same tail light used on the 1934-1938 civilian models was used on the 1941 Type 1 WLA's. That is what these lamps are.Originally posted by Paquette View PostChris--You are slipping my friend--You know well that there are no 1934--38 WLA's--Michael

NOS complete 1934-1938 H-D tail light
There is a vendor selling NOS complete 1934-1938 H-D tail lights on ebay. Asking $220.00 but I made a best offer of $175.00 and it was accepted. He has a bunch of them. They are for WLA's so they are painted OD.
