"American Pickers" syndrome is in full swing, I have been offered Crap for a fortune by several "AP" copycats and I offer what I think its worth (generally A LOT less than they paid) and they go away mad (it looks so easy on TV).

The good thing is it brings out stuff that was hidden away and the folks who are ACTUALLY interested in the stuff can get it cheap after the "bubble" bursts.

Just about every place they go on TV they score something. I wonder what the actual percentage is of places visited versus buying something? How many places do they get thrown out of? They don't ever show any of that.

Most of the stuff you see on these channels is 'theater.' Who'd sit there and watch the same-oh day-to-day stuff we go through? Gotta spice it up; sell air time to the advertisers. ...bill

That show is totally scripted, nothing at all close to real. Chris, thanks for the link to who these guys are 'in real life' (if you can call eBay that...). Their offerings on eBay are unimpressive.
