1. I certainly appreciate the fact that you (apparently singlehandedly) paid taxes and it also astounds me that in 40 years you have never used any "bullshit" Government services (roads, schools, libraries, student loans, small business administration, police/fire/ambulance services, public hospitals, rest stops, unemployment, national parks etc.) the list of "bullshit socialist programs" goes on and on.

The way I see it this country is in the trouble it is now BECAUSE of deregulation and the (mostly Republican) Goverment policies (I think that there are 2 distinct Republican parties, pre and post 1980). trickle down economics was a bad idea and it has never worked, deregulation was a bad idea and it has never worked. Democracy (and yes I know that this Country is NOT technically a Democracy) is messy.

I totally agree! and after him I say we get folks who call themselves Sludge on the Intertoobz, those folks deserve a "Jasper Texas cab ride" too. Seriously if all they did was talk (I don't know any of the details of this story) you might want to check the Constitution, I think there is something about speech in it.
