    Cablemaker?

Does anybody make (brake) cables? I have a good pattern (new cable).

I needed parking brake cables for a 1952 Chevrolet 3/4-ton pickup. I sent the old ones to these people and got a good set of replacement cables, they make them; 1-800-634-2145. (this is Speedometer Service and Instrument in Portland, Oregon; 530 NW 11th Ave. 97209) My pair of cables were $65 each and $17 UPS COD to return.

I'm looking forward to doing a future tech article on Motion Pro in Calif. They make replacement, and custom cables. www.motionpro.com is their link. Try them out, & tell 'em I sent you from the AMCA. They are totally into vintage bikes also.
      Good luck, RF.
