I think you would have to be "thick as a brick" to believe that nonsense and bid on them.

Unclviny!! I noticed that auction as well. I think you gotta drive to Michigan and pick 'em up yourself. If it's true.......what a piece of history!!

I have some air that blew through the windows at a famous factory in Milwaukie. I, too, can't mention their name, but you know which factory. The air smells like old motorcycles. It is fully documented.

A while back there was an ebay listing for "genuine" Lucas smoke, if you had let the stock smoke out of your Lucas system you needed this. I think this auction is right up there with that one!

I brought back a brick from the Brough factory 2 years ago along with 2 cylinder heads and barrels in my carry on luggage. I actually had 2 bricks but was so overweight had to reluctantly chuck one.

I got some bricks from the Miami Cycle (Miami Powercycle & Flying Merkel) factory in Middletown, OH when they tore it down about 10 years ago, some are marked as to where they were made. I post some pics someday. I think some OVC members still have some if anyone is interested.

Indian bricks from the Indian factory

I got a bunch of em back in the 70's. A bunch of us would ride up and hang between the buildings and sneak in. There was a military toolbox on the front building wall with the overhead door ringer button inside. It's in my basement now.
we used to walk around the building kicking bricks our every year. Anthony Cavazza was with us one year, we all filled our shirts with bricks and after a beer in the bar across the street, we headed back to the motel. I left, then another guy and no Anthony. WE waited 2-3 blocks away and finally a car pulled over and asked if we were missing a biker. WE said we were and they told us that the "blacks" , not the word they used, threw bricks at him and knocked him off his bike. We went back and he had done a wheelie on his Scout, flipped it and broke his leg big time. Bricks from his shirt were laying all over the street which is why the folks thought someone threw em. not fun then, but funny now.
