  • Goulding Hack Chassis Info Needed

A friend dropped a Goulding hack chassis off today and I'm trying to i.d. it. It has a serial number starting with 52W - . The frame has two underslung semi-eliptical springs on each side. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like a Wonder chassis. Got any pics?

Mr. Big, thanks to you posting the brochure I can i.d. it as a Wonder chassis. Any idea what years they were made. From the photos I'm guessing late 40's to early 50's. Thank you.

I had that style of Goulding sidecar for a Harley. It was rough and had been stored outside in the woods. I did some long forgotten deal with Bruce Palmer and traded it away. I never saw it at Bruce's again so I presume he threw it back out in the woods.

Goulding ceased production in 1956 but it's my understanding that any that they sold directly did not have a serial number. Could you possibly post some pics?
