  • Liberty Mcy policy announcement

Liberty reserves the right to refuse service upon any carburetor or other essential item with identification numbers that have been permanently altered to misrepresent its identity.

The only exceptions at this time are the "Beck" replacement L&L carburetors altered at the factory.

Thanks to the AMCA for this most valuable forum, and providing the opportunity to make this announcement.

Guess you figured out the answer to your dilema Tom, and I think you'll have the overwhelming support of most on this forum. Hopefully your decision will not only be respected but also admired by those in the hobby. While the forgers will no doubt condemn you and cost you some business, I hope that others who appreciate the fact that you've taken "the high road" will more than compensate for it. Best to you.

Just curious if you have noticed a flood of them coming in lately or has the situation been gradually getting worse over time?

            Ohio-Rider Steve!

It is nearly always the exotic and rare high-dollar models that tempt mortal souls.

I am in a position to encounter them more often than most.
And I am fortunate enough to have collected sufficient evidence to expose them.

It is quite sad that this has become an issue.

Great call Cotten--I knew deep inside that you were just asking to make folks aware of what bullshicht was going on--More power to you sir because you took the way of your heart & soul--A dollar is worth nothing if you have to compromise your beliefs to chase it--That is from an old sage--Myself--I look forward to meeting you someday--Michael--6671

                  Yet Another Liberty announcement....

                  As many of you know,

Liberty has been producing lightweight carburetor floats for many years.
With the advent of this year's summer-blends of digestive fuels, there has been a startling increase in reports of swelling of early productions of a now obsolete material.

I am replacing free of charge any of my DURABLE floats that swell beyond function with floats produced from the very latest material, which actually is used by all major automotive manufacturers.

Please return any swollen floats to me for verification that it is indeed one of my personally-machined floats, and that it indeed has swollen. I will NOT replace others' products!

Thanks again for this valuable web commmunity,

Do you have early Schebler floats? I am in need of floats for the Canonball run.

                      Of course!

                      Please email me direct at liberty@npoint.net ;

There are a variety of floats used on early Scheblers, and I cut to order all that I am aware of so far...

                        Tom,
I think you have been outdone. Here is the new float available for a Model A Ford with an Allstate carburetor on it. Half a million farmers can't be wrong. Nothing beats an old light bulb.

                          Chris!

                          That's truly illuminating.

My own experiments with lightbulbs are still pending.
