Great pictures of the Pioneer Run yesterday Kevin. We had several AMCA members in the run, and that's Geoff Skilton's 1913 Harley twin you can see in the photos on Brighton promenade. The Run is limited to about 360 of the approx 1400 pre-1915 bikes with Pioneer Certificates. The Sunbeam Club which runs it doesn't even allow 1915 models with their newfangled gearboxes, so these guys are pretty hard core doing London to Brighton on these early bikes, often in worse weather than this time.

        London to Brighton

        Great Stuff Vince!
I remember one of my early visits to the UK. We landed London side on our way to the Munster Rally in Ireland. Amoungst us was AMCA BOD member Pete Gagan, who gathered his Vincent & inclosed chair from the house he maintained on the route of the London to Brighton run. I was infactuated from then on! Attending various Brooklands re-unions, Boxing days at the Pied Bull, and plenty of Wrinkly rides in the Kent region, all on a very frowned upon Indian Chief.
Many thanks for sharing. Funny how Steve Slocombe noticed the Harley. I hardly got past the photos of the Indian and EX.
Thanks again, & please keep us septics posted.
        RF.
