  • Funny Wheels?

I took this pic at a Salt Lake City car show.

Why are the wheels on this Indian off center? Appears it would make for a bumpy ride?

Circus clown bike. There used to be a 1955 Desoto around here that was 2 1955 Desoto front half's welded together and the wheels were off center. Shriners used it in parades.

Central Illinois Dealer Bob Walters (brother of Bruce) explained a '36 OHV laced as such to be for a party contest, like a weinie-bite, barrel-roll, etc.

      It probably still exists.

I have seen bicycles done this way for parades, they also make great training for people about to enlist in the Navy.

I shot that video a couple years ago, was laughing so hard it was hard to shoot. Dangerous bikes to ride, don't think you can get out of first gear. It's funny that the bike starts out bucking wildly and then the wheels seem to get in synch....
