  • HARLEY Aluminum Kick Pedal?????

I have an aluminum kick pedal. Never seen one before. Might be an accessory or a WWII Harley part made when rubber was hard to find and before the aluminum shortage. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if anyone has some info on this part. Best Regards, 1941wld

Chances are good that it was put on the WLA after Uncle Sam turned it loose.
I have seen mine and a photo of yours. No others.

It's a period acessory made by Ballack Co. in the late 40s.....got nothing to do with WW2.

Ballack used to melt down old pistons and motor cases to produce cast aluminum accessories. Rumor was , he had a whole pile of indian 4 cases that got turned in to other stuff.

If you want to see a picture of the pedal, it's included in an assortment of cast aluminum acessories advertised in a July 1947 AMA motorcyclist magazine.

          I've got one too.
