  • The Very Last Henderson

Sylvester "Soo" Boyacheck "restored" this beautiful Henderson 30 odd years ago. He told me it was an uncompleted factory prototype that survived in that state after Schwinn dropped the axe on production. Soo pieced it together into a fine motorcycle. The most interesting aspects of the engine are the use of a timing chain and much larger cam bushings than on previous models. This bike sold a few years ago at the Florida auction for what I thought was a bargain price.

VERY nice machine. They just oozed style back then. Something very much lacking today.

I like the overall clean design appearance, the bike is uncluttered.

So very very true. Many modern bikes are ugly ducklings and plumbers' nightmares. H-D is about the most tasteful of the bunch, mostly.
