Ya got to admit that what ever crud they made that seat out of. It definitely stood the test of time. That thing almost looks like one of those early sixties carnival rides. Bob L

Yeah but, if you ingested certain chemical compounds in the proper quantities it would make that scooter look like the Chariot of the Gods! It mighta had a 750 Honda engine in it?

6 pipes! maybe it had a Corvair engine. Anyone remember Norm Grabowski's "6 pack" Corvair in an Indian 841 chassis ? There was a chopped Triumph around my old town that was equally acid inspired in the theme of a pirate, called Captain Satch. I'll see if i can dig up a picture, worth it for a laugh.

Yep, It looks like something built in Ohio. Imagine the babes you could have had with that thing back in the 70's. It screams "tunnel of love" to me.

It's not my cup of tea but you have to admit it's unique and captures the essence of mid 60's to early 70's custom mentality. As weird as this sounds, I think it's well worth preserving and shouldn't be cut it up for the few usable chunks left. As time goes forward, bikes and cars from that mercifully short period will become rare and a valuable touchstone to a very bizzare period of American culture.

I like your choice of pictures Chris. I have to say that I am very fortunate to have lived through that time because all of the pictures and second hand accounts of that era will never do justice to the experience of it all. America was on the edge of it's seat and it's a testament to the strength of this country that we survived. Being in southern California at that time had to be a real trip for you Chris. It's funny how a picture of that custom trike brings all of that back.
