Can anyone help me locate the owner of a 1920's Indian, with a Fire Department Sidecar Rig that was in Oley or Rhinebeck, or possibly the Hershey AACA meet, within the last couple years. The unit is outfitted with Fire hose, extinguishers and Fire appliances. Or, does anyone have one or any parts or pieces to one? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve AMCA #9168

Indian Fire Patrol
Pete, That's very similar to the one I'm looking for. The one I'm refering to has a seat instead of the tank. All other equipment would be as pictured. I have pictures also, but need info on the real thing. Thanks for the response. Steve

Fire patrol
Thanks Kevin, I'll try to look him up in the roster, or he can contact me if he's reading this post. I found what I believe to be a fire patrol unit, but have some questions before I pursue it any further. I'm a firefighter in Springfield, Ma. (home of Indian) looking for my next project, patrol rig just seems fitting. My email address is: stevemontagna@comcast.net
Thanks again.

That is a beautiful machine,
Thanks for the sharing the photos, aka HAWG .
This is a wonderful purpose built rig. See the hose fitting under the Fire Captain's Chair ?Last edited by William McClean; 12-04-2009, 03:17 PM.William McClean

That appears to be a 1928 Scout Model 101.

Gene Harper knows a lot about the Fire Patrol Chief. I believe he's been collecting parts for one for a number of years. He's also a real fireman. As Indianut said; the pictures are of a 101 which I didn't think was used for the Fire Patrol. It's still a very nice bike though.Eric Smith
