Good deal Lou. Better than the flyer I got that clearly states no booze. How the hell can you have a national AMCA meet and not have beer. Motorcycles-beer/beer-motorcycles. It's amost a right of passage. It sure looks like it's going to be a great time. Bob L

AMCA & Booze

Sale of Alchohol and Consumption of it has always been proscribed at AMCA functions. This club is organized and maintined as a Family Values organization. { I hate that phrase. I mean really, Charles Manson had a family, what about Their family values ? } A few years back a stink arose over sale of alchohol by the County Fair Board at the AMCA Banquet held at Starlight Club in Davenport.

I think the ban is still in effect.

The proscription also holds for sale and display of death head logo jewelry, t-shirts, etc.

Back in the day all the ads for the national meets stated No Alcohol and No Dogs. And we all know how that went.....I think I even saw some drunken dogs at some of the meets!
