Tom it wasn’t lack of maintenance. The guy I bought the front end from told me they were outside against the house for ten years. I’ve been soaking them for three months an anticipation of this day. I first put them in the vise and put a 24” pipe wrench on’em. No go. That’s when I came up with the dent puller idea. It took 25 minutes of yanking on that sucker. The only thing that sucks is that I was hoping there was enough rust on the tube that it would have yanked the bushing out with it. In the end it worked and i was able to salvage the legs. Bob L

have you had the plugs out of the top yet? you know they make a socket with two flat sides that is half inch drive to remove them with an air impact right?
