    1914 model 10 episode

    Here's the link to the History Detectives episode with the 1914 Model 10.
    Sorry no video - just a transcript...although it is interesting history on the bike.

      I saw that episode. Interesting to discover the real deal about the bike. I knew their theory that it was a military machine was wrong because it didn't have the flat military style fenders used on WWI models.

        ...there ya go...Ha...and I thought it was a red twin...

        I do recall, now, the fellow did get it running at the end of the spot.

        and that was 2006; time sure does fly...

        sorry for the thread hijack BTW...the Code Two clips were pretty damned good...
        I never saw a bike get shot in the tank like that

            Did ya notice that it was an OHV when he was riding and came in and laid it down? But when it got shot and blew up it was a sidevalve.
