Cory I see you’re having fun this weekend. I have never been to a hill climb and when you see film clips you easily become an armchair quarterback. The first time I went to Jefferson (White rose M/C Club) and looked up at that hill I was chilled. How anyone in their right mind would want to take 500 pounds plus of motorcycle a try to drive it up an 85% slope is beyond me. This idea brings out the kid in me. So were all ready planning on going to see this in action next season. Too bad it’s a three hour drive. See if I can't combine it with a tour of the York assy plant. Bob L

Rob I totally forgot about that place. My buddy that I go to the Harley Rendezvous with told me about that last year. He’s a member of The Bushkill Valley M/C club. I think they have something to do with that hill climb? Thanks. I’ll definitely check it out. Bob L

I don't have hillclimbs anywhere even close to me. Can any of you fellas tell me if the old iron still climbs the hills or is it mostly those newer screaming two-strokes?

Here's another clip while we're on the subject. I'm pretty sure it's been posted before but hey maybe some folks didn't get to see it......

Steve, I don't think I can go. I may be helping the 84 year old father move to Fla that weekend. It sure sounded good in theory though. I might get to go to Oregonia later in the month. It is a blast there, the dirt flies everywhere. They also sell beer in gallon jugs, not that I drank when I went there last time. teee hee. Denise

Cory, If you've never been to a hillclimb....you should go. I guess we take it for granted here in West Michigan, we have Mt. Garfield, and Bridgeton. Mt. Garfield had never been topped until 1929, Joe Petrali went over the top on an Excelsior Super X. The Muskegon motorcycle club hosts them here, and has for many decades.

Your right Tom, I should get to a hillclimb one of these days. Do you get many antiques on the hill anymore? That would be great to see. They used to hillclimb about 130 miles east of me into the '40's but it's all history now.

For those that may not have seen this yet, Dale's got some great hillclimbers.
