NYC Classic Bike Ride

Anyone interestred in organizing a ride in NYC for classic bikes to end at the Gotham Motorcycle Classic October 11 or 12?

It could be a blast to see a few dozen (or more) classics ride up to the Intrepid aircraft carrier. So many non-AMCAers have never seen bikes like ours except in magazines, books or museums.

There will be national magazine, newspaper and TV coverage of this event.

I am sure the New Rochelle contingent can muster up a few classics for the ride. Pat are you in?
Do you think they will put us on TV? If we are I hope they skip the laugh track!

Your editor, Chicky rebuilt my shovel in the early 80's. He was the best bike mechanic around these parts back then. My Idler gear blew up. I removed heads and brought him bottom end and he rebuilt it up to the heads for about $350.00 I still have the recipt. As I am sure you know he is first class.
