Strange nut

Hi.
The thread title isnt a self derogative term.
I bought a large box of original Harley parts a couple of years ago. There were some NOS parts and some used parts. I was able to identify everything in the box except this 1 1/4" nut. There are 2 of them and they appear to be NOS.
There is a rubber washer held in place by a cover plate that is swaged in 3 places. It looks as if it seals on some sort of shaft.
Any one seen one of these before.

Looks like a Sportster clutch hub retaining nut to me. The seal is for the pushrod.

Steve the rubber washer would seal on a 1/4" shaft.

I only ever end up with Sporster parts by mistake.
The parts have the manganise phosphate coating.
I dont own a Sporty parts manual. Do you have a OEM parts number

Looks like a sprocket nut 35047-53 is the ID about 7/8





and how much do you want for them

I'm not a Sportster guy and maybe the 1 1/4 measurement makes it Sportster (I know the Sportster and the Hummer share a clutch actuation design), but that looks like a Hummer sprocket nut to me. Here's an NOS one. 1 1/16 across the flats ... Perry
