  • A good laugh! For a great day!

    What to do in a flight when you have an annoying passenger sitting next to you ...
    1. Remove your laptop from the briefcase;
    2. Open the laptop slowly and carefully:
    3. Turn it on, as well as the sound;
    4. Make sure that the passenger next to you is looking;
    5. Access the Internet;
    6. Close your eyes for a few moments, open again and look up to heaven:
    7. Take a deep breath and open the site:
    http://www.myit-media.de/the_end.html
    8. Observe the facial expression of the passenger seating next to you.
    Have a good trip.

      I'd suggest you have a jar of vaseline handy. That way when the big dude behind you shoves your comp where the sun don't shine it won't be quite as painful.

        That reminds of the procedure for a nuclear blast. Go to the safest place in your basement, the strongest wall, kneel down in an upright fetal position, tuck your head between your legs....and KISS YOUR ASS GOODBYE !

          Paps it’s funny you mentioned that. Yesterday I was going by and old building by my shop and lo and behold up on the wall above the door was a half rusted Civil Defense sign. I just started laughing to my self that there was a time that those lunatics in Washington thought we were going to survive a nuclear strike.

              I was in school in FL in the late 50's, early 60's and we had drills in school, "duck and cover", every week since the Russians in Cuba had missles pointed at us.

                At the beginning of each school year through grade school we would have a civil defense training drill. A siren would sound and everybody would file out and proceed in an orderly fashion to the boiler/ storage room beneath the gym. Of course this room was not big enough to hold the entire school, so we did it one grade at a time, and the room barely held us then. Every hour the PA system would announce which grade was to go and the siren would go off. Wonder what they would've done in a real attack? But hey at least we were prepared and new what to do, right?
