We could name the new catagory, the "Close but not Close Enough" award.

We are all having some fun with this but, I still believe that any machine that consists of completely era correct parts and still operates as well as the original design intended it to, should be recognized with some type of award.

As a Antique Motorcycle club we need to encourage people to build motorcycles from “old” parts, and then reward their efforts. Choosing an appropriate name for the award should assure that history will not confuse these machines with the cream of the crop machines.

The State of Illinois is currently doing everything it can to DIScourage "people to build motorcycles from “old” parts".

The AMCA must watch its language, or conceivably become a target of 'organized crime' investigations.
