  • Help Identify This Rear Fender Brace

I'm almost positive the brace is for an earlier Harley Davidson. I just can't identify it. Anyone know what year and model it is for ? Thanks, Paps

    Fender Brace

I sure hope someone has an answer for you. Then I'll know what I've got. I have two of those braces (NOS) but they don't have the brackets at the bottom.I have always thought they were military 45 , but that's only a guess. I've had them on my swap table at Davenport, every year for the last 10 years and no one has looked at them twice....Rod

Just looks like a 45 rear brace with the chainguard extension hacked off. Left side wire loom notch and right side chain clearance!!

I suspect it is pre 1934 because if you look real good it has the contour of the ribbon fenders pressed into the 'loop' part.

That is what I thought Jerry. I was thinking I had it narrowed down to the early 30's or late 20's but I haven't been able to possitively identify it. Paps
