Well, not much of a response. What's going on with Bob McClean's decal business ? Is someone taking it over ? There's a tremendous business oportunity for some enterprising, but QUALITY minded person.

I did buy some transfers from John. The tank transfers were nice, though not the right color for 1911. The headstock decal and toolbox decals were horrible. They are not even close to original for color and text and look very cheesey. I'll post a photo.

There must be at least 5 or 6 people doing quality speedometers and just as many doing seats. You would think there would be just as many people doing decals. Bob McClean provided a valuable service with his decals but I have to say that the last set of Henderson decals I got were a bit sub-standard. I got a set of Excelsior decals from a quality minded restoration guy who only made a few extra beyond what he needed for his bike. They are incredible and made Bob's decals look quite poor. Bob's silk screens were getting worn out and no longer produced sharp edged borders and lines. Like I said, there is a great opportunity for a QUALITY minded person in the decal business.

I am running into the same problem. I need to age paint and decals for a 1938 knucklehead which I found complete barn fresh but with no sheetmetal. I tried several sources but couldn't find any decent real water decals. Last week I received a set from a guy named Rick Simpson who sells on eBay. I must say they are the nicest I have seen. Maybe these ware what you are looking for.
