  • New AMCA Chapter - Kentucky

Hello. We have efforts underway to begin a new AMCA local Chapter in Kentucky's Bluegrass region. The interest in this Chapter is overwhelming. We will have a meeting sometime in February '09 (TBA) and it will likely be in Mt. Sterling, KY (just east of Lexington).

If you would like to participate and possibly be a Charter Member, please send an email with your contact information to brian_groff@msn.com.

Just an update for anyone paying attention to this thread (which appears I may be the only one at this time ...)

The new Bluegrass Chapter has somewhere between 20 and 30 current AMCA members that have replied and expressed great enthusiasm for getting this off the ground. Additionally, we have heard that folks who have not renewed yet will be doing so and will likely be bringing friends to join AMCA as new members also.

If you're reading this thread and are able to make it on the 21st, it will be a great opportunity to meet some fine antique enthusiasts. At present, the title of 'oldest bike' in this area is a 1926 Harley Davidson.

This Chapter will be centered in Kentucky's Bluegrass region, meaning we will have meetings in various locations from Louisville, at the west end, to Mt. Sterling, at the east, and all points in between.
